Enhanced RS2 Security
The latest version of MITC RS2 includes two significant security enhancements.
Control Files: who changed it, and when. Control files for the following applications now track changes made to them:
- Billing Preparation
- Group Billing
- Time and Attendance
- Payroll Preparation
- Advanced Payroll Parameters
- Staff and Client Scheduler
- Piece and Production
- eNotify
- HR Manager
Historical tracking will be available to MITC in a new database that tracks all the changes, who made them, and when. MITC will now have more information without resorting to the Long-Term Back Service to view your history.
Power BI
Use Power BI to gain valuable insights into your data.
Microsoft Power BI is a data visualization and reporting platform that helps analyze data and find insights. It’s used to create charts, graphs, and reports that help users understand their data.
MITC can help you use Power BI to turn data into actionable information to create efficiencies, optimize quality, and drive cost and revenue improvements.
Documentation Reporting Performance Enhancement
MITC is releasing enhancements for several reports in Individual Service Documentation and Group Service Documentation to improve performance when generating certain reports with long date ranges. The filter options will be provided before the reports are generated, as opposed to after the reports have been generated. Larger providers will benefit from this enhancement.
The new version of Individual Service Documentation is planned to be available by 4/30/2025. The new version of Group Service Documentation by 5/31/2025.
Client Notes
Used independently of the Plan of Care for multiple reasons:
- Compliance: A recurring periodic note is required by the payor
- Service: Caregivers use Client Notes to track and communicate
- Incidents: Track unusual and reportable events
Authorization Restrictions Performance
A new version of the Authorization Restriction procedure is available that significantly improves performance.

Text-to-voice alerts
Text to voice alerts are now available with MITC Cloud solutions. Works with MITC alerts from Client Profiles, Documentation, eNotify, Missed Check-In Alerts, mySafety, No Show Alerts, Work Orders and any other MITC application that generates a text alert.
MITC RS2 Excel Integration
MITC RS2 now provides these options:
- Choose Auto-Open exported Excel files or Export Only for later use.
- Choose Auto-Open Report EZ files or enter a filename/path for each file.
In addition, MITC will be providing all customers with an Excel 2024 license for each RS2 Windows user during 2025. We plan for these upgrades to be completed by September 30th, 2025.

- Report EZ (Excel and html mode)
- Report form in Applications -> Raw Data mode
- Search Windows
Direct Deposit NACHA Update
MITC is eliminating the use of a 3rd party to create NACHA Direct Deposit files. NACHA files will now be created using MITC software.
Client Profiles: Documentation Summaries using AI
MITC has researched and developed software to use AI to produce documentation summaries. MITC will provide a summary of documentation for employees and managers working with the individual, and, where necessary, to Medicaid bodies who require periodic summaries.
- MITC query extracts documentation from the database in a format manageable for AI to summarize. The query includes options for:
- Select one client with date range
- Select multiple clients with date range
- Use an API to feed an AI to create a summary for each individual.
- MITC receives the summary from AI and updates Client Profiles to make the summary available to Employees/Managers.
- In addition, agencies can automate the process by providing summaries automatically on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) depending on need and budget.
- If a Medicaid body requires this, a standard report for all clients can be produced in compliance with the regulations which can be customized to meet the requirements of that body.
