Recently MITC added a new audit report to MITC RS2 Time and Attendance to provide greater visibility into “gaps” in time and attendance where employees might have traveled between clients/jobs or been on lunch breaks.
- Verify automated travel time calculations are appropriate
- Spot gaps where employees might be eligible for travel time pay
- Check employee travel time claims
- Quickly spot employees clocked out for less than NN minutes for their lunch break
Several customers using this report to audit travel time have requested 3 enhancements to add these options:
- Exclude Job Transfers, smoking breaks and other approved short breaks.
- Ignore situations where the employee clocked-out and clocked-in again to the same job/client after a short break.
- Round times using 7/8 rule
