We’re looking for someone to join our Project Management team at MITC!
About You
- You value building relationships. You are comfortable making connections and cultivating partnerships.
- You are a highly organized and proactive professional with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion. With strong leadership skills and a detail-oriented mindset, you excel at coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- You are a skilled communicator. You’ll use summaries and reports to communicate findings, objectives and plans to the team. You’ll also help manage the day-to-day rhythm of projects.
- You think broadly and know how to juggle the big picture with getting things done.
- You adapt quickly to shifting priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- You’re a problem-solver by nature and bring a strategic, analytical approach to project planning and execution.
Position Responsibilities
An MITC Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of multiple customer projects simultaneously. Due to projects being at different stages and requiring different resources, the ideal candidate will have great leadership skills and will be able to coordinate from project initiation to completion. Project Managers allocate internal resources to ensure customers meet project deadlines. MITC provides team members with training, templates, and proven framework so they can provide smooth and successful implementation plans.
- Manage implementation projects, ensuring successful onboarding of new customers from kickoff to go-live.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their operational needs and configure software to meet specific business requirements.
- Coordinate internal teams—including development, support, and training—to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Use existing MITC plans and framework to maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations across multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead regular customer meetings to review progress, address concerns, and provide updates on timelines or deliverables. Meetings are conducted by video call.
- Identify potential roadblocks or risks and proactively create mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the main point of contact during implementation and ensure a smooth transition to support.
- Help ensure customer satisfaction by delivering solutions that drive real value and efficiency in workforce management.
- Travel onsite to meet with customers in their offices roughly 2-4 trips per year. While the travel required is light, we find that meeting customers in person is a great learning experience.
Experience Requirements: Entry-Level Candidates Welcome
We believe great project managers come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. If you’re just starting your career or transitioning into project management, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement listed.
At MITC, we value curiosity, communication, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn just as much as experience. If you’re motivated, organized, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Logistics & Hybrid Schedule
At MITC, we support a flexible, hybrid work environment that empowers our team members to do their best work—whether at home or in the office.
- Most roles, including this one, follow a hybrid schedule, combining remote work with in-office collaboration as needed (typically 1–2 days per week, depending on team needs).
- We recognize that flexibility supports productivity, well-being, and work-life balance, and we aim to create a structure that works for both employees and teams.
- Our office space is available for team meetings, project kickoffs, and individual work, and we encourage in-person time when it enhances collaboration or connection.
- All employees are equipped with the tools and support they need to be successful—regardless of location.
Travel Requirements
This role may require occasional travel—typically 2 to 4 times per year—for activities such as:
- Customer on-site meetings or go-live support
- Team offsite collaboration or training sessions
- Industry events or conferences (as applicable)
All travel is planned in advance and fully covered by MITC. We aim to keep travel reasonable and purposeful, with plenty of notice given. Trips are usually 1-2 days in length and can be anywhere in the USA.
Equipment
Laptop, mobile phone and all necessary equipment is provided by MITC.
