The Operations Assistant plays a vital role on the Business Operations team in supporting both customer communication and internal coordination. This position will assist with responding to customer inquiries, routing requests to the appropriate teams, creating reports, scheduling, and processing orders.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. This role requires someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at MITC’s office in Frederick, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer phone calls and general inquiries
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure timely responses
- Process orders including creating invoices, updating contracts, and creating shipments
- Schedule meetings for customers using scheduling software and follow up with customers by phone & email as needed
- Create internal reports and distribute
- Assist with office coordination and administrative tasks as part of the Business Operations team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and helping create a positive office environment.
The position works closely with customer support, operations, and other internal teams to ensure excellent service for MITC customers.

Logistics & Schedule
- This position is a full-time, in-office role based out of MITC’s office in Frederick, MD.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Equipment: Laptop, mobile phone, and all necessary equipment will be provided by MITC.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $40,000-$50,000 salary + benefits package
