Marketing Specialist

GOAL: The Marketing Specialist at MITC joins the marketing team to help design, create, and contribute to marketing initiatives by creating original video content, assisting with digital and email content, and helping with overall marketing efforts. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join the team!

Responsibilities

• Create video content including live action shorts (around 3 minutes), software training shorts (around 30 seconds) and other video-based content as needed.
• Proof marketing email content ensuring accuracy and assist with new designs and graphics.
• Light design responsibilities (Canva based) creating content for digital use on social media and email.
• Manage MITC LinkedIn and Facebook accounts – around 3 posts per week on each platform.
• Assist with CRM data imports to ensure tracked data is up to date
• Review website for SEO & content updates, and make suggestions for improvement
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Support the planning and execution of conference registrations and liaise across teams to prepare for events throughout the US.
• Manage special campaigns and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Video editing
• Basic HTML capabilities for website updates
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Experience with Adobe creative suite preferred
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Positive attitude and creativity focused
• Bachelor’s degree

• MITC supplies a laptop, mobile phone with hotspot, and any necessary equipment.
• Covid vaccination required for all MITC positions.
• Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in office minimum
