MITC is looking for a detail orientated, energetic individual to join our Cloud Services and Help Desk Team.
Responsibilities
- Assist Cloud Services Manager with day-to-day management of cloud resources and operations
- Serve as technical troubleshooter, address issues relating to cloud services to ensure availability and performance
- Develop and maintain scripts for Windows server management and cloud services
- Perform disaster recovery testing
- Configure monitoring of Windows Server resources
- Respond to monitoring alerts to fix problems on Windows Servers
- Assist with internal IT related issues to support MITC staff as needed
Requirements
- Experience managing cloud servers and storage
- Powershell scripting knowledge
- Windows Server administration, including IIS administration
- College degree, technical training and certification, or demonstrated work history in server management
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with Citrix Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure storage accounts, data backup solutions, server replication and disaster recovery, or artificial intelligence (AI) a plus.
- Available on occasions to be “on call” (bonus pay) 365×24
- Available in emergencies to assist with disaster recovery

Hybrid Working
Even though MITC workforce is 90% remote, we still need to be thoughtful about where we have staff working. MITC embraced working-from-home before the pandemic. In office attendance is limited to monthly or annual team meetings and trainings. Frequency varies by team. For those employees who prefer an in-office environment, MITC operates an individual desk-sharing and meeting room plan with plenty of space for all. Each employee chooses their own schedule within these parameters. MITC’s office is located in Frederick, Maryland.

- MITC supplies a laptop, mobile phone with hotspot, and any necessary equipment.
- Covid vaccination required for all MITC positions.
The Whole Package
Location:
Work from home (90%). Travel to Frederick, Maryland required for initial training and quarterly meetings. All expenses paid.
Compensation:
