An improving economy is causing higher turnover and additional overtime as existing staff cover more open shifts. Agencies with group home and HCBS programs have been particularly affected. More effective scheduling can help.

Did you know that “honor” “after-the-fact” systems – timesheets, timecards, and other paper forms or ineffective general purpose systems that only do part of the job pose a risk for agencies. This can result in collection difficulties, inaccuracies, manual calculations, spreadsheets, lack of smooth integration, and excessive data entry.
Join us for a webinar on Thursday, August 10th to learn how agencies eliminate the costs and risks of paper or ineffective systems with biometric fingerprint readers in group homes, ICFs, and day programs.
More and more contractors are replacing Telephone Timekeeping systems with Web Clock or Biometrics. Join Russ Hylton, Contractor Team Leader at MITC, in a discussion on when and where to still use Telephone Timekeeping and when and why Web Clock with GPS with GEO Fencing might better. Both solutions work, but work better in different situations.
March 17, 2019 is the deadline, per the CMS rule, for states operating a section 1915(c) waiver or a section 1915(i) plan to meet new HCBS requirements. The new requirements include: integrating settings into the community, providing consumers with setting options, ensuring consumers “privacy, dignity and respect, and freedom from coercion and restraint”, providing consumers with autonomy, and providing consumers with service choices and a choice of who provides services.
This gradual shift to HCBS along with greater use of fee-for-service, managed care, and new EVV rules are pushing many provider organizations to consider how to incorporate new technologies and information systems.
Join us for a webinar on Thursday, August 24th at 2:00 pm EDT to learn how changes in HCBS rules are driving agencies to adopt new technologies.
